Hello kids. Today has something fun in store for us. Come on. Planes and helicopters. Beautiful! We've all seen airplanes before whether on TV and in real life. They help us travel faster and give us great views of the world from the skies. Let's learn about a few of them. This is the Sai Marchetti sf 260. looks good, doesn't it? It is an Italian aircraft designed for both military purposes and acrobatics. It can carry up to two passengers and can reach maximum speeds of about 441km/h. Now that's fast. I sure would love to fly one; if I can get over my fear of heights. This next one is the de havilland tiger moth– what a cool name. Let's see what it does. This is a 1930s biplane. Now kids, a biplane is a fixed winged aircraft which has a pair of wings with one stacked above the other. The tiger moth was used as a military trainer and was designed by the guy who named it: Geoffrey de Havilland. The tiger moth has a design that makes it strong and acrobatic. It is also fairly easy to fly. The de Havilland chipmunk (another one from the same company, and again with the cool names). It is a two-seater, single engine aircraft. It was used for military services, even by the RAF (royal air force). It has a height of about 7ft and reaches a maximum speed of about 222km/h. Not as fast as the first one, but still beautiful. I know I can fly this one. Kids, this is the aerospatial 365 c dauphin. Also known as the airbus helicopters, is a medium-weight twin engine multipurpose helicopter. With 1 to two pilots, this aircraft can carry up to eleven passengers. Going as far as 306km/h, over a range of 827km. Now we can see the boulton paul balliol. It was a monoplane built as a military trainer. It can take a crew of two and travels up to 464km/h. And here we have the Bell 47 G-2. Looks like a dragonfly, right? It is a single rotor helicopter. It can take a crew of two pilots and up to two passengers. It has a maximum speed of 169km/h over a range of 396km/h. Woah! That's a drone. The UAV-UX I. UAV stands for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. It is an aircraft that flies without a human pilot. That's the Auster 'Autocrat. It looks like a strong one. It is a three-seat single-engined high winged aircraft. It is a monoplane. It has a crew of three, and a height of over 6ft. It can reach a maximum speed of 196km/h over a range of 320 miles. It was first introduced in 1945, a long time ago. I like this one. The Denney Kitfox model 2. This beautiful skycraft was an early kit plane; a type of plane that could easily be assembled in a garage and towed to the airport with it's wings folded. Give me a set of instructions and even I could build one. It can carry just one passenger and travels at a maximum speed of 195km/h, cruising at 60km/h. Alright, so this here is Westland Sikorsky dragonfly. Cool! This lovely aircraft can carry a crew of one: the pilot, and three passengers. It can reach a maximum speed of 153km/h over a range of 300 miles. It was used as a rescues chopper, or communications aircraft. And finally, the prestwick pioneer. It can seat four passengers and has a wingspan of about 49ft! It can go as fast as 261km/h, and cruise at a speed of 195km/h. That's all kids. Hope you enjoyed it and now feel like flying? I'm off to find a plane, bye! --------------------- You can always find Kids & Nursery learning videos on our channel and We would like to know your ideas through comments for future videos.
