Let's hope they don't run away after seeing us. Come on! This is a lovely waterfall. Oh look these two birds; do you know what they are? They are called cockatiels. These beautiful birds are from the cockatoo family, which means they are related to parrots. Look at the way they groom each other. They seem to be having fun. These birds can live between 10–14 years and they make great pets! Oh, look! There's more of them. Cockatiels eat nuts, fruits, and berries. Now, kids, these animal looks familiar, doesn't it? It's called an Elk, and they are herbivores. This means that they eat grass, leaves, plants, and bark. They can also eat sprouts. Look at him enjoying his meal. I wonder what he was sniffing it. Oh well, he's back to the green grass. Did you know, Elks consume up to 20lb(pounds) of vegetation daily? Like this one, Elks feed mostly during the morning and evenings. Wow! I'm sure we must all know what this animal is. This is a chimpanzee. Chimpanzees are primates, this is why they have some features that look like us, humans. For example, look at the way he sits on that tree and picks his food with his hand. You can also see the way he chews. I think he knows we're watching him. Okay, down he goes. Chimps have posable thumbs and are able to grip trees with both their hands and feet. This makes them great tree climbers. Look at this reptile. Looks scary and it also looks like a lizard. Do you know what it is? I wonder why he's hiding all the way in there. Do you see the way he plucks at the leaves with his tongue? Look, kids, what's this beautiful spotted animal? It's an antelope. It's foraging in the forest for the foot. They are also herbivores and eat leaves, plants, roots, and grass. That's all for now, kids. We've seen more beautiful creatures in the forest. I hope we learned a thing or two about them?
