Are you super excited as I am?? Let’s hurry then…! Let’s find out what they are doing! Hello kids. Subscribe to our channel and click the bell to turn the notifications This is a beautiful strip of land. You can see the clear blue river on one side and a beautiful green land with patches on trees on the other. We will take a tour of this beautiful place both from the air and from the land. We will have a closer look today so stay with me. We are going to see the elephant families live their lives daily. You already know what a herd of elephant is. We will follow them around today to see how they live their lives. Is it exciting like ours or more exciting? We shall find out soon. From the distance, you can see a family of elephant moving. Look closely behind the bushes, you will see their brown furs. They are feeding. What do elephants feed on? Green leaves, berries and other delicious fruits. They also drink plenty of water. The mother elephant and her little calf are feeding on some green leaves. Where would they go to when they are done? Wow! This is becoming exciting. It is fun studying about the elephant and how they live. You can see the elephants walking down a path. They are done eating and are looking for a place to cool off for the day. Look closely kids; you will see white birds with long necks close to them. Those birds are called cattle egrets but they still follow the elephants around. They feed off little insects on the body of the elephant. The elephant, in turn, provides protection for the egrets. (Laughs) Talk about a bounded relationship. It is called a symbiotic relationship. The elephants have finally found what they are looking for. Can you see them in the picture? They are inside the river bathing. Oh, the fun! Elephants take their baths too. They want to smell nice too and cool off from the sun. Look at that little calf. Her mother is bathing her. The elephant has a strong relationship among themselves. They show love to each other the way humans do. They also protect each other. When one elephant is in trouble, the whole herd looks for a solution. When one dies, all the herd will gather around that one and weep before burying the poor elephant. Humans have found a way of taming these gentle giants. They are also good workers. They can carry humans and heavy load. In the past, they also help humans to win wars. The herd of elephants is interesting to watch and talk about all day. Hope you have learned something from today’s trip. It is evening already and the elephants will be going to sleep. Look at that single elephant strolling off already. He is going to meet his friends and then together they will spend the night. Phew! I had so much fun. So, kids, we visited a family of elephants today! We also saw and learned about how they survive. Hope you had lots of fun today!
