No, they are not doing any of those. These are some of the local wildlife officers who regularly monitor elephants in the island nation of Sri Lanka. These officers are here to relocate this elephant to a conserved area in Yala National park, Pinawala Elephant Orphanage or other conserved areas due to threats that appear to these giants closer to human villages.
