Video- Humanity! Helping an injured Elephant These kind of shootings are rare in the island of Sri Lanka now due to strict rules against hunting and poaching. This wounded elephant calf was initially spotted by a group of villagers that immediately noticed the wildlife department about the situation. These kind officers quickly gave first aid and made sure the elephant is okay o they can transport this young one back to their field operations center for further treatments under their careful watch. The elephant population is at a decline, and within another 100 years they might go extinct at this rate.
